DNB has three settlement states: win, stake returned or loss. Only a team win can produce profit. A draw returns the stake rather than producing profit or loss.

Standard football settlement normally uses 90 minutes plus added time. Extra time applies only when the accepted market says so.
At a 50-unit stake and decimal odds of 1.80:
- backed team wins: 90 units total return, including 40 units profit;
- draw: 50 units returned, no profit;
- opponent wins: 0 units returned.
Calculate fair DNB odds from 1X2 probabilities
Removing the draw means conditioning on the match not ending level.
Suppose your probabilities are:
- home win: 45%;
- draw: 30%;
- away win: 25%.
The fair home DNB probability is:
45% / (45% + 25%) = 64.29%
The fair decimal price is:
1 / 0.6429 = 1.56
Do not calculate 1 / 45% = 2.22. That is the fair price for a home win where
the draw loses, not where it refunds.

DNB and Asian handicap 0 often share the same payoff table. They should still be checked as separate accepted products because abandonment, period or promotion treatment can differ.
Which result counts?
Standard football markets commonly settle after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts are normally excluded unless the market says otherwise. A cup match can therefore be 1-1 for DNB settlement after 90 minutes even if one team later qualifies.
That 1-1 result returns the DNB stake. It does not become a winner because the backed team wins in extra time or on penalties.
Also verify:
- postponed and abandoned match rules;
- venue changes;
- whether the market is specifically labelled "to qualify";
- any early-payout promotion, which is separate from normal settlement.

Shorter odds are not automatically safer. They can still be poor value. Keep the stake inside a pre-set loss limit and never enlarge it because the draw offers a refund.
